European Minerals Conference Madrid 2010

The EU Raw Materials Initiative: Sustainable access to resources in Europe - Madrid, 16, 17 and 18 June 2010

The “European Minerals Conference Madrid 2010 - The EU Raw Materials Initiative: Sustainable access to resources in Europe” is a high political level European Conference, with the active involvement of representatives from European Commission, European Parliament, EU Member States, and Extractive Industry, intended to deal with a such a strategically issue or the future of the quarrying and mining industries in Europe.

The “European Minerals Conference Madrid 2010” is organised by representatives of the extractive industry at both European and Spanish level. It is included in the official programme of the Spanish Presidency of the EU and is fully endorsed by the Spanish Ministry for Industry, Tourism and Commerce.

The venue for the European Conference will be 16, 17 and 18 June 2010 in the plenary meeting room of the Spanish Ministry for Industry, Tourism and Commerce (Madrid – Spain). The conference language is English. Interpretation to Spanish will be available.
